His YouTube channel boasts more than 10 million subscribers and more than two billion views. Le ranked 25th in the Billboard Emerging Artists charts in November 2017. The Recording Industry Association of America certified his song "It’s Always Night Sis” platinum in March of 2018. Le released the single in 2017 with the title "It’s Always Night Sis" with Alissa Vivian, a YouTuber responding to YouTuber Jake Paul’s viral track "It’s All Day Bro". Le's debut charting song was released, and it reached the top positions of between 80 and 55 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Canadian Hot 100 charts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. At the age of 13, Donaldson began uploading YouTube videos under the username "MrBeast6000". His early content included Let's Plays and videos estimating the wealth of other YouTubers. The YouTuber became a viral hit in 2017 thanks to his "Counting to 100,000", video that received thousands of hits in just the span of a few days. Donaldson has hired a lot of his former classmates as assistants to manage his growing channel. The MrBeast channel had a subscriber count of 60 by 2022. It reached 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022.
