American actor Courtney Thorne Smith (born November 8 1997). Her most notable role is Alison Parker on Melrose Place and Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal. She was also on the show as Cheryl in According to Jim and Lyndsey McElroy on Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith was born in San Francisco and raised in Menlo Park (a suburb to San Francisco). Her father, Walter Smith, was an analyst in the field of computer markets as was her mother, Lora Thorne, was a psychotherapist. They separated at the age of seven.
