Courtney Thorne-Smith Bio

American actor Courtney Thorne Smith (born November 8 1997). Her most notable role is Alison Parker on Melrose Place and Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal. She was also on the show as Cheryl in According to Jim and Lyndsey McElroy on Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith was born in San Francisco and raised in Menlo Park (a suburb to San Francisco). Her father, Walter Smith, was an analyst in the field of computer markets as was her mother, Lora Thorne, was a psychotherapist. They separated at the age of seven. Courtney was just seven and she lived with both parents in various stages. Jennifer the older sister is an advertising executive. In 1985, she graduated from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California. In the high school, she was a member of the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley. Thorne Smith's first appearance in a movie was in the 1986 feature film drama Lucas. She was accompanied by Winona Ryder (Corey Haim), and Charlie Sheen. She was also involved in various films in the late 1980s like Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise (1987), Summer School (1987), and Side Out (1990). In 1998, she appeared as an actor in the box office flop Chairman Of The Board along with Carrot Top. Thorne-Smith was in Sorority Wars in 2009. Thorne Smith was the lover of Andrew Shue from Melrose Place in the early 1990s. In June 2000, she married Andrew Conrad, a geneticist. The couple split in the month of January. On January 1 2007 she got married to Roger Fishman, president of the company that markets the Zizo Group and author of the book What I Know. On the 11th of January, 2008, at age 40 she gave birth Jacob Emerson Fishman, her son. Jacob Emerson Fishman.
