Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. The stage name he uses is the mixture of the name of his favourite uncle and the stage name of Kid Cudi (whose real names are Scott Mescudi and Scott Mescudi) This is his first major-label contract with Epic Records. Scott also signed a publishing agreement with Kanye's GOOD Music. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album of full length, Owl Pharaoh (1983), was self-released. In 2013, Scott released his first full-length mixtape, Owl Pharaoh. The mixtape was later immediately followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was the debut album of his studio. The single that became his biggest hit, "Antidote", was featured on it. His follow-up album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. The next year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the band name Huncho Jack.In 2018, his third album, Astroworld, was released to critical acclaim and produced the first Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). In late 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. His track, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first performer on The Hot 100 to have three songs reach number one within the span of a year.
