Morgan was born on July 2nd 1989 (Alex Morgan age: 30) to Pamela and Michael Morgan. She was raised by her parents in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Morgan was a multisport athlete throughout her childhood, but she first discovered soccer at the age of 14. After high school, Morgan joined the Cypress Elite club team. They were the winners of the Coast Soccer League Under-16 championship and came in third place in their under-19 bracket.
